The Footnotes came in third in the National Collegiate A Cappella Championship Semi Final in 2000. The group was also recognized by the Contemporary A Cappella Society through their selection of the Footnotes' rendition of "Boogie Down" for their "Best of College A Cappella Vol.1" album. In recent years, the Footnotes have sung at venues ranging from Yankee Stadium, the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, the American Ambassador's Residence in London, and the Presidential
