Prince Martin is lead vocalist of Lilongwe based sensational reggae outfit, the Soul Raiders Band. He has toured UK among other venues and has recorded 2 solo albums and another 2 albums with the band. Born on Leap Year, Feb 29, 1980. Joined House of Lions in 2000, Formed Soul Raiders at Chancellor College 2000-2004. Toured with Mlangeni Sounds in 2003. Toured with Mabingu Band in later years. Married childhood love Grace in 2008 and their son Prince Martin 11 was born in 2009. Recorded African Skies in 2010. Toured UK in October 2010, Black History Month . With Marcus & Monty, formed the sensational Soul Raiders Band in December 2011. The band appeared in concerts within Lilongwe and Blantyre within the year. Recorded the band debut, Angels in December 2011 and his third album Sun Is gone. The two albums will be released in 2012. Is now Lead vocalist of Lilongwe based Soul Raiders Band. Prince Martin grew up listening to the wailers, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer and his musical inspiration was drawn from this trio. In later years the music was greatly influenced by Luciano, Beres Hammond, Fred McGregor, Maxi Priest, Dennis Brown and Morgan Heritage. Luciano remains his all-time favorite.
