Prima Vera was a Norwegian music/comedy group which consisted of Tom Mathisen, Herodes Falsk and Jahn Teigen. They were well known for writing satirical lyrics to well-known songs at the time. The group was founded in 1976 when Herodes Falsk left Jonas Fjeld Rock 'n' Rolf Band (later renamed Jonas Fjeld Band) and teamed up with Tom Mathisen and Jahn Teigen. They took the group name from a fictional Italian boxer in a book by Øvre Richter Frich. The autumn 1977 saw the release of their self-titled debut album. Their breakthrough came in 1978 when their second studio album Brakara was released. It topped the Norwegian album charts and sold over 100 000 copies. In December 1979, their third studio album Salmer og sanger vi gjerne hiver was released, and sold also particularly well, peaking at number two on the charts, behind The Wall by Pink Floyd. In January 1981, they released their first compilation album, titled Best of Ebba, which contained two new songs together with some of their greatest hits. They toured all over Norway, and had plans for releasing a VHS and a musical, and worked on it the same year. Later that year, the musical and their fourth album, Fisle Narrepanne i Tyrol was released, and was their first serious release which didn't contain humorous parodies of well-known songs. Norwegian actors Ulf Wengård, Kjersti Døvigen and Ivar Nørve performed in the musical together with the group. The autumn 1981, their fifth studio album Den 5te was released. The ori
