A progressive metal band formed in 2007 in Drexel Hill, PA, Prevalence is: guitarists Jeff Davis and Alex Cichetti, bassist John Lauro, vocalist John Maurer, and drummer Greg Biché. As of the late summer of 2008, the band went on an indefinite hiatus, due to many members leaving Drexel Hill to go to college.
