WHERE ARE THE BEUTIFUL PEOPLE AND THE NEONLIGHTS!? From where we are nothing ever happens. The same people walk by the same streets everyday, doing the same thing over and over again ´til they die. Maybe some people are satisfied with this, but that´s not for everyone. So in the beginning of 2006 three bored guys started President Roadkill, with the aim to make the grey reality go away. Not just for themselves, but for everyone else who feels the same way and wants to come along with the circus. Life´s not for everyone.. SANE FOR DISTORTION! The band started to write songs and tried alot of different styles before they found what was going to be the President Roadkill sound. With heavy guitars, metaldrums, punk-inspired basslines and BoRn´s vocals added to it, the ideas kept flowing and after a while the material for their first EP was finished. So they started to record the "Sane For Distortion" album during the following summer, and after 3 months of recording they were finally satisfied. The EP was sent to be mixed and mastered at Recordia, and in december 2006 the album was finished.. LET`S DRINK OUR SINS TODAY AND FORGET TOMORROW! 2007 began and the President started to play live for the first time in their short history, starting out with a releaseparty for "Sane For Distortion" and followed with some gigs in Gothenburg, Molndal and Karlstad.
