The 16-year-old artist from Jackson, Mississippi, makes songs that have caught the attention of Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Meghan Trainor, and blink-182’s Mark Hoppus. Even when classmates did not support his experimental songs at first, the curly-haired, fresh-faced talent refused to compromise and pushed onward. Prentiss Furr is a self-taught artist who dabbled in illustration and video editing before exploring music. In 2020, he hit a creative stride after he began using his real name. "Rock With It" showed a teenager's lofty dreams with moments of blunt honesty—staying in his lane regardless of what anybody says.
