Praetorio is the neo-classical project of Irvin Getrouw. Although the project began in 2004, the first Praetorio track, Lied voor Mia, was recorded in December 2003 under Getrouw's other guise, IRV. He decided to release the track under the new Praetorio name, and it appeared on the Steinklang's Mia Runa DCD 2005.
