about

pow wow! is the brainchild of the Eddie and Jeff Nazareno, brothers originally from the suburbs of northern New Jersey and currently based in Astoria, Queens. After performing as a duo and releasing a string of self produced DIY records, the band solidified their lineup comprised of bassist John-Paul Anthony, lead guitarist and co-vocalist Amanda Burdon, and drummer Sal Garro. "Don't Stop To Look" is pow wow!'s debut full length, self-released in late 2012. The sounds and styles expand on the party soul vibe of the band's early releases while adding new sonic textures. Drawing influence from a wider cache including by not limited to 80s & 90s shoegaze, indie rock, jangle and brit-pop bands, "Don't Stop to Look" is their most diverse yet focused offering to date, highlighting their penchant for concocting infectious pop songs and melodies while narrating a scope of experience that is uniquely New York City.
