Portaligas is an all-female Punk Rock band from Santiago, Chile. Formed on Puente Alto, Santiago, in 2009. After playing some gigs with a male drummer and a female singer, as a five-piece band, their first stable line-up consisted in: Carol: Vocals, 2nd guitar. Lily: Lead guitar, vocals. Arlette: Bass. Disna: Drums (drummer form punk rock band Nosotros No!). Portaligas got recognition on the punk rock chilean scene (a very "macho" scene BTW), thanks to their attitude and good compositions, and looking for a more pro sound, the girls did some line-up changes on 2011: Carol: Vocals. Lily: Guitar, backing vocals. Disna: Drums. Bea: Bass. While they were preparing material for their second demo, and for their first official record, on October 31, 2011; Lily, founder of the band, performs her last show with Portaligas. She leaves mainly for her teaching career and her family. To fulfill her position, former Lilits guitarrist, Claudia Bustamante, enters: Karol: Vocals. Disna: Drums, backing vocals. Bea: Bass, backing vocals. Claudia: Guitar. In late 2014, bassist Bea anounced her departure of the band, for personal reasons related to her professional career and studies. The band performed a few shows with a female friend supporting in bass, until early 2015, after some auditions Portaligas introduced their newest member, Naty on bass. 2015 Line-up: Karol: Vocals. Disna: Drums, backing vocals. Claudia: Guitar. Naty: Bass. Portaligas performed their last shows circa 2017. S
