Pop Filter is a new Australian band whose members stretch between cities and whose shared history binds them together, with the number one goal being that of nurturing their friendship and continuing to make music together at an age when children, work, and distance can easily hamper this. Pop Filter features members of the Ocean Party, Cool Sounds, & Snowy Band. They are mainly known for their debut album “Banksia” which was released on August 21st, 2020. Per a press release, the album was mostly written and recorded over the course of four days in a family holiday house in Broulee on the NSW South Coast. It was mixed and mastered by Liam Halliwell. They followed Banksia up with Donkey Gully Road later in 2020, CONO in late 2023, and Ray and Lorraine's in 2024. Members of the Australian band include Curtis Wakeling, Jordan Thompson, Lachlan Denton, Liam Halliwell, Mark Rogers and Nick Kearton. They were signed under Spunk Records on May 24th, 2020.
