Popa Wu is the Wu-Tang Clan's mentor, mediator and father figure and is also an expert on the philosophy of the Five Percent Nation - his preaches and teachings on the "Nations of the Gods and Earths" can be heard on various Wu-Tang Clan albums. He is said to be related to Ol' Dirty Bastard, 12 O'Clock, GZA/Genius and the RZA. His two sons are ShaCronz and Freemurda who are both members of the C.C.F Division. Popa He teamed up with a myriad of old and new Wu-Tang MC's to release two "solo" albums [one in MP3 format and one retail CD] in 2000 and 2008 respectively. Both albums were effectly compilations of Wu-Tang Clan affiliated artists (old and newas perviously stated) with with regular interjections from Popa Wu himself.
