Fresh and melodic rock with a vintage feel In fall 2004, bass player Kaj Kiviniemi and drummer Timo Klinga met each other after starting their studies at Jyväskylä Polytechnic, Finland. The idea of Poor Jim was born in spring 2005, when they realized that they had similar musical ambitions. It was soon decided, that Kaj would handle the guitar and vocals, and an outside bass player would later be recruited for live events. They started writing songs immediately, but it wasn't until early fall that things really started to move on. The band has now released two demos (download the songs from the bands website) and is currently writing new material.
