Polly, the New York based rapper who prides himself as being a storyteller, has been rapping since he was 13, using music as way to escape reality. Unlike many other artists Polly’s style can’t be boxed in, he has music that can appeal to a broad audience, from the typical hip hop head to people who don’t even consider themselves fans of rap. His debut mixtape Pollygamy: The Story of Kalypso was released in February 2010 and within a week obtained over 1,000 downloads.
