There are two bands named Polara: 1) Polara is a brazilian indie rock band from São Paulo, which it’s members had been from all over the country. The sound of the band is a mix of hardcore punk, 90s emo and indie rock. Every member has had been present in Brazil’s underground music scene, with innumerous bands being related to it. The band has ended during the recording of the album “Inacabado” (trans: Unfinished), and is actually playing some reunion shows, but with no new material released yet. It’s line-up currently consists of: Carlos Dias (vocals) Marinho and Felipe (guitars),André Satoshi (bass) and Cauê Xopô (drums). 2) Polara is also an American rock band formed in 1994 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by Ed Ackerson.
