Polar Beyond is a band from Belfast, Northern Ireland who play a style of alternative atmospheric rock. The band consists of Dave Armstrong (vocals/guitar), Glenn Porter (bass/keys) and Simon Porter (drums/percussion). Incorporating vast sounds, ambience, passion and power into their music, Polar Beyond aim to inspire, energise and stimulate listeners. Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, they take influences from the likes of Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Muse and Interpol. With an loud atmospheric sound, hints of shoegaze and a backbone of pure alternative rock, Polar Beyond have been making large strides and winning fans since their formation back in 2010, despite only recently emerging into Belfast's ever growing music scene.
