PolJam-x are a Dance and Nu-Disco concept band that produces music for artist projects and commissioned studio work. The band formed in the Fall of 2010 and came from collaborations with other artists from the UK and Europe. The studio lineup consists of Rj Samuels - Bass/Vocals , Ellis Manhattan - Guitar/Vocals, Friday McAllister - Drums, Dayna Shannon - Keyboard/Vocals, Ailish McAfferty - Vocals. and Celenka - Vocals/Rap. The name derived from the record company, Poljam Records, since all recordings at that point were released by PolJam Records. Since that time, PolJam-x has ventured out from the record labels umbrella and is an entity in its own right. PolJam-x runs under Rj Samuels Management and Ellis Manhattan Music Productions as well as the record label. The band came together by accident when two of the original founder members met on FaceBook and just wanted to Jam. Free tracks can be downloaded at their offical website, www.ellismanhattan.co.uk.
