Poised For The Worm was a hard rock band from Ontario, Canada. They were formed in 1995. The original lineup consisted of singer Al Grego, drummer Travis Watts, guitarists Gerald Fratzl, Eric Wright and bassist Steve Brown. Eric Left the band before they recorded their first album in 1998. Backup singer and keyboard player Hilary Blackmore joined the band in 2003. The band offered up a unique blend of fast-paced, hard hitting rock that can slow down to a more 70's kinda groove. From 1998 to 2001, PFTW were in and out of the studio recording their first album. The recording was done on a shoestring budget and the band produced it themselves. The CD was aptly titled “With Baited Breath” . In 2006, the band went back into the studio to record their follow-up album "Plenty For Everyone", but split up before mixing was completed.
