Artist
The Poets was a Danish rockgroup created in 1981 by Troels Bech (b. 1960), who composed and wrote most of their music. Lars K. Andersen (b. 1960) wrote the lyrics and sang them as well. The were named The Poets of the Signature up till 1985, where they changed the name to The Poets. They worked with a broad spectrum of genres from "no wave" to rock and pop, which can be heard on their self-titled album from 1990. They also released Four Days in Florence (1987), The Poets (1990) and Welcome to the Heathen Reserve (1992) before they split up.
