about

Poetry of Shadows was a gothic rock band from Cova da Piedade, Portugal. Members included João Marques (vocals), Carmen Simões (vocals/bass), Luis Miguel Dorival aka Oblivion (guitar) and José Amaro (guitar). They released their only full-length album "Spheres of Knowledge" in 1996, with a music style clearly influenced by the Fields of the Nephilim. Luis Miguel Dorival, Carmen Simões, José Amaro and João Oliveira also formed the ethereal wave band Isiphilon.
