Artist
Matthew Hough began Pluto & Charon in 2016, recording songs in his Studio City apartment. His 2016 self titled EP earned him a live-in residency at an art gallery in Hollywood. From here he enlisted the help of his childhood friend Kieran Prince to write and demo the songs that would become the debut LP "Point Nemo," set to release on October 23rd. The band was filled out entirely through connections he had made working at a breakfast restaurant in West Hollywood, The Griddle Cafe. Josh was a customer, Jake was a co-workers friend, and Zach was a long-time friend of Jake’s. In astronomy, Charon is Pluto's largest moon. They have an extremely unique relationship within our solar system; Charon isn't much smaller than Pluto, so the center of gravity isn't on Pluto itself, but actually in between them. That means that Pluto & Charon sort of orbit around one another, always facing each other, never turning away, locked in a beautiful little cosmic dance.
