Ploegendienst (literally: 'Shift Work') is a Dutch alternative / punk rock band based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, fronted by hiphop-meets-punk phenomenon, Ray Fuego (who is also in the hiphop crew, SMIB. Originally an endeavour of Dutch nu-punk icon, Bram Swarte (of Adolf Butler and Malle Pietje and the Bimbos fame), Ploegendienst features members of Aux Raus, SMIB, MICH and Firestone. They make relentless hardcore punk sung in the Dutch language and have released two EPs (Ploegendienst in 2018, Baba Ganoush in 2019) as well as two albums: IK (2023) and DSM-5 (2024).
