Young band Plastic Swans from Slovakia was formed in the summer of 2007. All the five members create the sound and distinctive expression of the band together. Details are crucial: deep male voice or the sound of old keys in combination with current musical elements. Lyrics are written in English, the poems of William Blake and Allen Ginsberg being the great source of inspiration and help. It is not easy to define the genre of the band. However, the band certainly produces alternative music, offering thus their own vision of music itself. In 2009 the eponymous debut was released. It has been distributed since March 2009. In a relatively short period of time Plastic Swans did many gigs in clubs or festivals. During this year the second album, this time produced by Marek Rakovický (Lavagance), will be released.
