Jonathan Heslop (Planet Bliss) has been producing Electronic music since the mid 90s having been influenced by up-tempo artists like Orbital, The Chemical Brothers and down-tempo/Ambient artist like Edge of Motion, Brian Eno, Fila Brazillia. His music combines intricate, powerful beats with multi-layered and evolving synth soundscapes. From 1996 to 1998 Jonathan studied Popular Music at the "Carlisle College of Art and Design". Over the 2 year course he learned how to work in a live and studio environment. Learning some key skills in stage setup, live recording and mastering/production. It was during, but outside this course that Jonathan progressed his skills at using Synthesizers, Samplers, Computers and his composition skills.
