Plagueborne is a death metal band from Andernach, Germany. They formed in 2016. They were going be the name Five Dollar Crackbitch six years before they reestablished themselves as Plagueborne. They currently consist of Stefan Höfer (vocals), Daniel Michel (guitars), Bernd Schäfer (guitars), Janis Wilkes (bass) and Luis Strietholt (drums). Past members include Andi (bass) and Sven Menges (drums). Plagueborne are signed to Rising Nemesis Records. Through that label, they released their first two singles. They released the Value of Freedom in 2020. In 2021, they released The Wretched. Also in 2021, they released their debut full-length album A Blueprint for Annihilation.
