The group Plague of Happiness is an independent music group founded in 1999. It plays songs in the ska and punk genre and has several compilation albums in several countries such as Norway, Bulgaria, and Malaysia. They also had a debut album in 2007 titled KAWAN. Current Members: Nas (Vocalist & guitar) Ipin (Bass, backing vocals) Atoi (Trumpet) Azmal (tenor saxophone) Nausad (Trombone) Arabic (Guitar) Pozy (Drum) Kateq (Trombone) Anip (Trumpet) BAND BIO 2000 Record a song for a music video to enter Malaysia Video Awards (MVA) for a friend studied at Lim Kok Wing. But didnt get the chance to enter MVA, we make our friend miss the submission date. Didnt have any experience on pro-recording so it take a little time. But PLAGUE OF HAPPINESS manages to release their DEMO/EP called nanban. Release in August 2000. It was release independent under friend/mentor grind/metal label called ORGASMATRON RECORDS. Surprisingly PLAGUE OF HAPPINESS Manage to sold 1000 unit of cassette less then 6 month independently. First gig in Singapore called AKS UPBEAT at Youth Park. 2001 Doing less then nothing, just performing gig, poking nose and farting extensively. 2002 Joining World Of SKA (Germany) website for exposure. First compilation with SHERZO, FAGS AND STONED and FAIRY GOAT MUDDER. We called it BEFORE WE WERE YOUNG. Compilation direction is to show the relationship between PUNK ROCK and SKA. Registered NYARING RECORDS to release the compilation. Invitation by TROSKOT RECORDS (Bulgaria)
