Pixie Carnation is at the moment a seven piece band based in Malmö, Sweden, founded in late 2007 by childhood friends Tobias Hellkvist and Ola Pålsson. With a common vision they started writing and recording mainly in Tobias apartment studio. After about a year of composing, a band slowly started to take the shape of what now is Pixie Carnation. In February 2009 the band entered the studio to record their debut "Fresh Poems EP", which was self-released in May 2009. In March 2011 they released their first full length album, "The New World Record".
