Piri Reis are a five-piece screamo/emoviolence band from Shah Alam, Malaysia that formed in 2014. After years of honing their craft through a number of splits, they finally released their debut full-length "Ritma" earlier this year. It's a co-release between some fantastic labels, namely Zegema Beach Records, React With Protest, Moment Of Collapse, and Framecode Records. It's 10 tracks consist of dark, twisting riffs, chaotic rhythms, explosive drums, and some incredible shrieked vocals. They break up the bursts with quieter, more dynamic moments that display a vulnerable agony. Fans of bands including Orchid, Tristan Tzara, or Louise Cyphre in particular need to pay full attention here. Band Members are Arwith, Amira, Farhan, Jaka & Fakhri.
