Pip Heath is from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is now hiding in Banff, Alberta, Canada and is slowly writing songs underground in the basement that he lives in. He was born in 1983. He plays guitar mostly nowadays but grew up playing piano. He mainly uses fingerstyle guitar playing, and is influenced a lot by Iron & Wine, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Lou Reed, Violent Femmes, Simon and Garfunkel, Smashing Pumpkins, The Shins and many others. Pip Heath never sung growing up and was sure he never would, until one day he just decided to. He thinks it is very hard. He had some bands called "Stellar Nursery" and "Hoofty for Mayor". That's about as far as he's gotten though, so forget about it for now. He plays open-mic nights sometimes, and they have been going pretty good. Pip Heath also draws t-shirt designs for the Australian t-shirt brand Seks Hender (www.sekshender.com.au).
