Pinkard & Bowden are a country comedy parody duo made up of Sandy (James) Pinkard and Richard Bowden. From 1984 until 1992, Pinkard & Bowden were actively recording music for themselves as well as writing music for others, such as Frizzel and West, Mel Tillis, Anne Murray, Tanya Tucker, Ray Charles & Clint Eastwood, and Vern Gosdin. Their most popular song, "Mama, She's Lazy" reached position #39 in the US Country charts in 1984.
