Artist
Pindar was a one-off krautrock band. Somewhere between 1971 and 1976, the group spent three days under continuous hallucinogenic influence, holed up in a West Germany recording studio -- the end result being the record, Saturnity, which until now remained unreleased. Disagreements over the resulting kosmiche musik, and no doubt the heavy drug use, caused the group to splinter. Disillusioned with what had happened to his songs, founding member, and cheif songwriter, J.S.E., took the masters before the label could mass-produce. Some thirty years later the music has resurfaced and the story of Saturnity can now be told. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
