Piet van den Heuvel is a Belgian musican and songwriter. As a singer he was known for his participation in the Belgian group "Scooter". The band did not last long, but created a pair of hits with "You" and "Minute by Minute". With the song "You" the group won the "Summerhit 1981". After that Piet performed as (backing)vocals for Clousea, De Kreuners, Sodapop, 2 Shy, Flandriens, The Silver Foxes Deluxe, Dirk Blanchart, Jean Blaute and others. He also wrote songs for M-Kids, Buzz Klub, Yasmine, Flikken, Touch Of Joy and Eddy Wally.
