Born in Toulouse, France, Pierre Aderne was raised in Brazil and has lived in the city of Rio de Janeiro since he was 1. Son of a Portuguese professor of Philosophy, Pierre took his first artistic steps at the age of 17, inspired by his mother (a Brazilian art educator) and also by his family, which is filled with actors and musicians. Singer, songwriter, guitarist and poet, his many new generation musical partners include Seu Jorge, Domênico, Rodrigo Maranhão, Dadi and others. Aderne’s albums “Casa de Praia” (2005) and "Alto Mar" (2007) were released in Brazil, Japan and Portugal and got excellent reviews. His songs have also made the top play lists of several radio stations in these countries. Pierre's 2006/2007 tour included Japan, USA and Portugal where he was invited to open up for Ben Harper in Lisbon.
