Following in the same vein as Gangstarr, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Epmd, Brand Nubian, People Under the Stairs and more, this hip hop duo sets out to make classic sounding hip hop through a timeless formula that resonates with hip hop fans — sample-based, boom bap! Piece of Mind is a progressive thrash metal band from St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. 04. Piece of Mind was an alias of Kevin Sullivan and Philip Larsen, who released a few House records in the early 1990's. Sullivan continued to work as an instrumentalist, Larsen went on to win a Grammy Award in 2004 for Best Dance Recording for recording and programming Kylie Minogue's "Come Into My World".
