Mike Munroe - Vocals/Bass Sammy Jobson - Guitar/Keys/Backing Vocals Benjamin Mitchell - Guitar Samuel Norris - Drums Four guys from the dry town of Tunbridge Wells that have been together from their early school years. They evolved from a band called glaucoma, a heavier rock group (minus Sammy Jobson.) A regular appearance in the Tunbridge Wells music scene (The Forum), they haven't been about to much lately due to all being at different universities. If these songs are anything to go by then the Pictures of Shanghai lads aren’t very lucky in love, but if as a result they carry on writing great songs like these, then long may it continue." - Famous By Association 'The band really have never sounded better. There's a confidence, particularly in the vocals, which they've never showcased before and it improves them no end. When 'Is This Public or Private?' gets going it also sounds great - and when the vocals really start to go at it in the choruses, there's a raw emotion which separates the men from the boys in this genre of music. I usually get bored of listening to band's demos after a couple of listens, but after about a dozen or so plays straight this sounds better than ever.
