Picture Me Broken is an American rock band formed in 2005 in Redwood City, California, later based in Southern California. The group has released two extended plays and one studio album. In 2009, they were named one of the top unsigned bands by PureVolume and received an MTV Video Music Award for Best Breakout Bay Area Artist. The band has been on hiatus from touring since 2014. Picture Me Broken was founded by lead vocalist and keyboardist Layla Brooklyn Allman and bassist Austin Dunn. The group was initially called Lane Four, with the name derived from the first initials of the founding members Layla, Austin, Nick, and Eric. Following several lineup changes and a shift in musical direction, the band adopted the name Picture Me Broken. They began performing covers before transitioning to original material and releasing their own recordings. In December 2012, Picture Me Broken released the four-song extended play "Mannequins," produced by David Bendeth. In 2013, the band served as the sole opening act for the Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson "Masters of Madness β Shock Therapy" tour, which took place across the United States from June to July.
