Pickwick Commons is a metalcore/mathcore band that formed in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2015, the band dropped their first album Old Sense//New Reality, but shortly after the album's release the band overhauled their line-up to commit to being a full-time band. In particular, guitarist Adam Loellke moved to the vocalist position and former collaborator Colin Fedorchak became full-time guitarist. The first release with this new lineup was the 2016 Short Lived split with Lebanon hardcore band Old Poet, which showed the band moving from melodic metalcore to a sound more influenced by mathcore and beatdown. In March 2019, the band released Weak Bones, which continued down this heavier path while still showing hints of melody. The band self-releases and self-produces all of their music.
