Noted for the exquisite quality of her voice, Phoebe Partridge has been said to sing her unique brand of acoustic jazz "like she's been listening to Billy Holiday her entire life". She has rejected offers from various major record labels, choosing instead to remain homegrown, and develop at her own pace and style... A member of The Pindrop Band since 2000, Partridge completed her debut solo album, Talk About The Weather, in 2005. Fellow Pindropper and multi-instrumentalist Piers Partridge (no relation!) wrote and produced the album - backing up the gorgeous vocals with his own acoustic guitars, mandolin, ukelele, slide guitars and various other instruments - to create a quality of sound and songwriting belying its homegrown status.
