Born in Syon Park London England, Phil Thurston started his musical career at school where he played the piano and various percussion instruments. His passion for music led him to engineer many shows and performances. He attended Kingston College where he studied Media and introduced himself to Candle Music in 1995. He started working fulltime for Candle in 1996. Phil is now the Studio Manager at Candle where he composes and produces music for television, radio and film. Whilst at Candle, Phil had a huge interest in designing websites. After designing Candle's first website he took this further and started to study website design. Since then he has designed many websites for a variety of people including his own. Phil has a huge interest in photography following his Grandfather's similar interest. He has a vast library and is a member of istockphoto which exhibits some of his collection. Phil loves to travel around the world taking photos for his portfolio. Phil likes to keep fit by running and regulary plays squash. Since Phil met Ellie Settelen he started to raise money for this very sick little girl. Phil raised lots of money for Ellie and now raises money for The Promise Russian Childrens's Charity following her death. He has completed the London Marathon and climbed to the Base Camp of Mount Everest in his efforts to raise money for various charities.
