Phantom Leaf is a band from Finland. They play atmospheric and melodic gothic rock with a hint of progressive rock. They have released two extended plays: Twice Told Tales and self titled Phantom Leaf. The band's name refers to the term phantom leaf effect used in a kirlian photography: “when a part of a leaf is cut off and removed, the Kirlian photography of the rest of the leaf can show the full leaf, the cut-off portion appearing as the ‘phantom’”.
