POSTED BY: PRASHANT "DISEMBOWLED: DIXHEAT Formed in August 2002 by Dr. Cocô, with the purpose to do the purest gore/noise/extreme metal, emerges Phagocytosis. Still in the first month the band signs a contract with the brand new label Cocô Records, also idealized by Dr. Cocô, and releases a 5-way split with the bands: Abosranie Bogom (from Israel), Chifres de Satã, Vaginal Autopsy and Defecação Oral (project in whom Dr. Cocô is drummer and vocalist). Soon this split would be distributed by Fecal-Matter Discorporated Records, from Texas, EUA. After a little divulgement in the underground, the band starts to compose songs for their new work, titled "Psycho Gynaecologist". The mCD, with 10 tracks, was released in the beginning of January 2003 by Fecal-Matter Discorporated. The success was so big that in March of the same year the band releases its third work, called "Wintergore", a mCD with 8 tracks.
