Kostas Alekoglu was born in Thessaloniki , Greece in 1976. His involvement with trance started in 1994 and in 1996 he co-founded the Magus project with Chris Tatitzikidis (Igneous Sauria). The Magus discography includes releases on a number of international labels such as Creamcrop, Flow, Databass, Uphonic, Digital Psionics and Resonoise records. Kostas has been producing music for 8 years and has performed in parties & festivals worldwide in countries such as Greece , Denmark , Portugal , UK , Germany , Italy , Brazil , Israel , Australia and Japan . He has been involved in other projects as Magus, Algorithmic Disorder and he has two other personal projects Skizofrenic Society and Muthafunkster. 'Phacelift' is his latest personal project. Since Magus split, Kostas has been constantly improving his music production quality and exploring new diversifying dimensions in his music. In his constant quest for the 'new' sound, in his Phacelift project he created a hybrid of progressive psy trance , mainly influenced by the European techno scene in France and the minimal workings of the Swiss and Danish underground. The first release of this project was by Interzone Records (CZ) in the label's second compilation. featuring the collaboration track "Vaca Loca" with Brazilian artist Wrecked Machine followed by releases on compilations by Databass music from France, and Candyflip records from Greece . His long-awaited debut album Path of Pathos was released by Candyflip Records. Us
