2008 - Present time. Petröleo is a group of indie pop rock originary of Mallorca, Spain, that sing in Spanish. They are floating musically between Tindersticks, The For Carnation, Sr. Chinarro and with an eye on Surfin ' Bichos. Formed by ex-members of Los Vinos, Polidor, NeoTokyo or Imperi Brasil, as well as also of Fameliars's components, or 37A (now Ella Drácula), they've been together for a year now to give form to Alberto's songs (ex-Vinos, Orcquesta Republicana, Doctor Martin Clavo) and to provide them with the intensity and the dramatic quality that they needed.
