Artist
Peter-Jan Wagemans (1952) is a Dutch composer. He has studied composition with Jan van Vlijmen, as well as organ and theory of music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He also studied some time with Klaus Huber in Freiburg. He is most famous for his orchestral music, which includes seven symphonies. He's one of the leading contemporary composers in The Netherlands, although he's virually unknown in the rest of the world. Wagemans' website is www.peter-janwagemans.com.
