http://www.myspace.com/petermatthewkasen Originally from Miami, dreams of becoming a popular singer-songwriter have spurred Peter Matthew Kasen onward since age fifteen. Studying guitar, composition and arranging in college, his dreams began to progress into actuality within the Boston district, where he joined several bands. Peter started his solo music career under the name of Propel. He was the lyricist, singer, music writer and guitarist - a one man band. Starting out from an apartment in Berkeley, California during May 2005, Peter created the music for Propel and began to pay for his own touring in an effort to reach out to as many fans as possible. Spending a lot of his time online at communities such as Myspace, he has always encouraged interaction with his fans. His first EP 'A Year Worth Forgetting' and over 250 tour stops followed, prior to Peter being signed. Further self-funded touring, fan interaction, and the new release 'Antique Scars' progressed Propel once more. Propel's music has been featured on 3 compilations, as well as in 4 movies. The music received radio play across much of California, along with stations in Washington, OR, and even Europe playing Propel. After two and a half years of Propel, Peter reverted to his birth name to continue his music career. He took some time out from America, in order to create a new record and to tour Europe, where his fans have been both enthusiastic and supportive. 'Dust, Doors and Debt' was released in April 20
