Peter Adamson is a Professor of Late Ancient and Arabic Philosophy at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). He first worked at Kings College London (KCL) where he became a Professor of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy. He is the author and presenter of the podcast ‘History of Philosophy Without any Gaps’, HoPWaG for short. The intention of the podcast is to explore the complete history of philosophy from its earliest thinkers, covering all the bases. The scripts are written to be accessible to all listeners, not just those with a philosophy-infused background. Peter’s love for giraffes and the silent movie star Buster Keaton may enter the topics of discussion, but usually comes in the form of a pun. Each episode generally lasts between 20 – 30 minutes.
