Peter Bardens, the legendary keyboard player form the initial line-up of Camel, formed MIRAGE in 199 along with other musicians who were connected with 1970s bands Camel and Caravan, namely: Andy Ward and David Sinclair. They toured in mid-1990s and recorded a few live albums, which brought to the audience a mix of Camel's and Caravan's best songs from their initial stages and also some of Bardens' personal recordings.
