Pete & Bergie are comprised of husband and wife Chris and Hannah Peters. High school sweethearts who went their separate ways, then came together in 2016 to start a band. Fast forward to 2018, married and became parents in 2020. Writing songs about relationship, their faith, parenting, and where they are from. Their styles are a mix of folk, emo, bluegrass, and a little math rock. Each year, on their son’s birthday, they release an EP, titled “Pieces of Work” with 4-5 original songs. Musical influences ranged from Switchfoot, John Van Deusen, American Football, The Weepies, Caedmon’s Call, Simon and Garfunkel, and Peter, Paul & Mary. You’ll find them on most days raising their son and daughter, working as a special Ed teacher, stay-at-home mom, and at night recording in their basement.
