In 1987, synth pop duo Pet Shop Boys, at the height of their success, collaborated with UK singer Dusty Springfield, who had been out of the limelight for several years. Her career was revamped after the release of the hit single 'What Have I Done To Deserve This?', which brought Springfield back to the international charts.
