Pestilectomy is a slam death metal band with members based in Germany and Nevada in the USA. Their music comprises mostly slow, pummeling slam riffs, but the band have more-recently also incorporated technical and traditional brutal death metal elements to their sound as well as blast beats, while still retaining an emphasis on slams. Their lyrical themes revolve around dark matters such as torture, violence, mental illness and the occult. They remain active since their formation and originally performed under the name Pestilent from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are signed to the Ukrainian label Reality Fade Records.
