Perry's Mort was founded in 1990 in Oulu, Finland by Mika and Jyrki. The band started as an experimental instrumental group and went through various changes in styles and personnel by the end of the decade. In 1999 the original members started to work together in spite of the 600km distance between them, using internet as a tool for transmitting tracks between the two studios. The musical style of Perry's Mort was developed towards progressive and folk rock with some electronic elements. Some new musicians were drawn in as the musical ambitions grew with the new ideas. On the latest concept album 'Stormpryer' the founder members were accompanied by two vocalists, a couple of guitar players and some guest stars on miscellaneous instruments. After finishing 'Stormpryer' the band has taken a deep breath and concetrated on developing new ideas and composing some funny stuff just for fun.
